Hi, I'm Dom.

A simple night out with my sisters on camera has become something I never could have imagined. A full blown career based on eating food! I've spent the last few years eating throughout the Capital Region and posting about it as @DomCReviews. Somewhere along the way, the DMs turned into a second job: "where should I take my girlfriend Friday?", "what's actually good in Troy?", "who has the best wings?" This had me asking myself... how can I create a space to organize everywhere I've been? How can I make it easier to find the places I recommend?

Upstate Eats is my answer. Not a review page where everyone has an opinion, not a wall of star averages, just one person who likes to eat, constantly telling you where to go, what to order, and what to skip. If the breakfast sandwich is mid, I'm going to say the breakfast sandwich is mid.

The rule is simple: I pay for my food, I go more than once when it matters, and I tell you the downsides too. I've never claimed to be a culinary master and I always suggest trying every place for yourself. I'm just a normal guy who likes to cook, likes to eat, and has years working in hospitality.
